From the Clinic to the Classroom: Motivate Me (SCRANTON)

Motivation is not always intrinsic. How do you motivate students to engage in challenging or less-preferred activities and become more independent? This workshop will provide an overview of the principles of reinforcement and effective ways to motivate students. Attendees will be provided with resources to assist in the selection of appropriate strategies and tools to utilize with individuals or groups of students. This workshop is suitable for administrators, educators, paraprofessionals, behavior specialists, and parents.
