Tools and Tips for Navigating Community Resources: A Workshop for Parents
Noticing possible delays in a child’s development can leave parents feeling scared and overwhelmed. This workshop, presented by the staff of Geisinger’s Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute (ADMI), will provide an overview of the educational, behavioral, psychological, and speech-language resources available to parents with concerns about their child’s development. This workshop has been designed for parents whose children have been referred to ADMI. Most often, the resources that will be discussed can be initiated prior to an ADMI assessment.
