The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Research Core facility provides access to state-of-the-art imaging methodologies and expertise for Geisinger and Bucknell researchers and their collaborators throughout the region.
The MRI Research Core is primarily housed within the Geisinger-Bucknell Autism & Developmental Medicine Center in Lewisburg, PA, where a Siemens 3.0T Siemens Tim Trio MRI scanner is available for research use, supported by funding from both Geisinger Health System and Bucknell University. Additionally, a 1.5T Siemens Aera MRI scanner may be available after-hours for research use at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA on a case-by-case basis. Any questions regarding use of the Core may be directed to Sam Fielden at firstname.lastname@example.org or 570-522-6284.
